The Rotenso Aquami Split 8 kW heat pump consists of:

  • external unit with the symbol AQS80X1o
  • a hydraulic module with the symbol AQS100X13i.

It is a single-phase pump with a heating capacity of 8.3 kW (A7/W35) and high energy efficiency class A++ (for 35° flow temperature) and A++ (for 55° flow temperature).
It provides high heating capacity down to an outdoor temperature of -25°C and can operate without the aid of electric heaters even at an ambient temperature of -15°C.
The maximum available water temperature in heating mode is: 65°C and in DHW mode it is: 60°C.

To ensure trouble-free operation at temperatures below 0°C, the pump is fitted with a drip tray heater to prevent condensate from freezing and the external unit from frosting, thus preventing possible damage to the fan and heat pump exchanger.
The second important element of the pump's equipment is the compressor crankcase heater which, at temperatures below 0°, heats the compressor oil preparing the unit for trouble-free start-up in adverse weather conditions.
This technical solution guarantees failure-free operation and extends the life of the compressor - the heart of the heat pump.

The AQS80X1o heat pump is equipped with a 9 kW modulating booster heater (3 kW +3 kW + 3 kW). In emergency situations or at temperatures below -15°C it is sometimes advisable for the heat pump to use booster heaters to prepare hot water or DHW for economical operation of the heat pump.
It is worth knowing that the use of heaters has a beneficial effect on the durability and reliability of the heat pump.
It is worth remembering that in emergency and extreme situations these heaters can take over as the only source of heat.

The Rotenso Aquami AQS80X1o heat pump is a day-to-day user-friendly unit. Easy service access is ensured by the placement of the automation and hydraulic components in the indoor unit and the USB function allows the pump's software to be quickly updated .

All you need to do is copy the stored parameters between the controls using a memory stick.
The use of a single-fan design with a bionic vane pattern, a two-rotary compressor and optimised piping design have significantly contributed to the pump's quiet operation.

The Rotenso Aquami pump can be controlled from a mobile app as well as a modern wired controller with a menu in Polish.
