• Heating water buffer storage tanks are used to store excess energy from heat sources. Such a source could be, for example, a heat pump, solid fuel boiler, fireplace, etc.
• The BWS-100 only serves to store heat and cold in systems using water as the operating medium.
• The integration of the buffer storage in the heating system with the heat source ensures ideal operating conditions for the heat source, under favourable temperature conditions.
• The main effect is to optimise the operation of the heat source (for example, for maximum efficiency), as heat not used in the heating system is stored in the buffer storage tank.
• The selection of the appropriate buffer storage capacity is the task of the heating system designer or other qualified heating system designer.
• The BWS-100 storage tank must be installed by a qualified heating engineer, who will certify this with his stamp on the warranty card.
• The storage tank is made of sheet steel, without internal surface coating and pressure-tested to 1.5 times working pressure.
• BWS-100 has thermal insulation made of halogen-free polyurethane hard foam, 42 mm thick, with excellent insulating properties. The outer shell of the tank is made of powder-coated sheet steel.

Installation conditions

• The BWS-100 heating water buffer storage can be installed either free-standing on a sufficiently load-bearing surface or suspended from sufficiently strong walls. The BWS-100 heating water buffer storage may not be used for hot water storage.
